This is a speculative ("SPEC") commercial project — an independently produced advertisement created in the style of a major brand. SPEC commercials are a widely-used, legitimate way for actors and models to build professional reels, get discovered by casting directors, and land future paid brand work. This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by Burger King Corporation. All trademarks remain property of their respective owners.

Before you apply

What exactly is a SPEC commercial?

A SPEC (speculative) commercial is an independently produced advertisement created in the style of an existing brand — without being officially commissioned. They are widely used by actors to build demo reels and get noticed by casting directors. Your footage is 100% yours to use.

Do I need professional equipment or experience?

No. A modern smartphone camera is perfectly acceptable. We welcome first-time applicants and real people with no prior acting experience. Just film in good lighting with clear audio.

Why is there a fee to audition?

The fee covers the casting director's review time, delivery and licensing of the commercial script, performance notes, and your portfolio listing. This ensures every submission receives genuine professional attention.

How long should my audition video be?

Audition videos should be 30–90 seconds. The script is designed for that range. You'll receive full instructions and performance tips with the script after registration.

When will I hear back after submitting?

Our casting director reviews all submissions every Friday. If selected, you will receive an email within 5 business days. All applicants get a confirmation email immediately after submitting.

Can I apply from outside the United States?

Yes — this is a worldwide casting call. We accept virtual auditions from any country. The script is in English, but international applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

What does "selected" mean — is there paid work?

Selected talent will be featured in the SPEC commercial production and receive professional footage for their portfolio. Separate paid opportunities may arise from the exposure. The primary value is career-building portfolio content.

Can I cancel my monthly or yearly membership?

Monthly memberships can be cancelled at any time before the next billing date with no fee. Yearly memberships are non-refundable after 30 days. Contact info@tvtalentshow.com for billing questions.
